The advanced Vectra® 3D Imaging system creates a tailor-made, personalized image of you, the patient, and allows the doctor to generate a preview of surgical options, allowing you the chance to, in essence, “try before you buy.”

How Does Vectra® 3D Imaging Work?

The technology that makes this stage of the consultation process possible is extremely advanced, to the point that this is a very hands-off process that takes only minutes:

  • First, the operator takes multiple photos of you by using several specially positioned cameras. The system then stitches these various images together into a single virtual model. This three-dimensional model of you will be viewable from a variety of angles.

  • The images are then altered to show how a variety of surgery options could aesthetically impact you. For instance, you will be able to see what a specific type and size of implant would look like once inserted.

  • Together, the doctor and you will choose the image that best represents your desired final look. That image will be used as the template for your chosen surgery. This eliminates guesswork on your part, boosts confidence, and ensures that you and the doctor are on the exact same page when it comes to moving forward with your surgery.
